Arsenal star is penalty shoot-out hero on night of drama.

Cesc Fabregas was the hero of Spain last night with the dramatic penalty which earned a semi-final place and put Italy out of Euro 2008.

After a disappointing quarterfinal in Vienna,where both sides had their chances to score,it ended goalless after extra time.After missed shots in the shoot-out by Daniele De Rossi and Antonio Di Natalie for the current World Champions,Dani Guiza missed for the Spanish and the Arsenal star,Fabregas,sealed the victory 4-2,to set up the semifinal with Russia.
